2. Randomly join the segments along their long edges to make the pinnie center, which should measure 2" x 6", including seam allowances. Press the seam allowances open.

3. Sew the white 1" x 6" strips to the long sides of the pinnie center. Sew the white 1" x 3" strips to the short ends to complete the pinnie top.

4. Layer the pinnie top with batting. Quilt as desired (see the photo for an idea) and trim the quilted pinnie top to measure 3" x 7".

5. Refer to “Finishing Your Pincushion” on page 10 to complete the pinnie.
